You know you are back in Canada when...
We have seen 7 Moose since we have been back in New Brunswick! There is one spot between Fredericton and Beulah that you really have to be careful with. We came down through there a few nights ago, just a little after dark, and sure enough...Moose!

I NEVER drive that drive after dark unless someone has died!!! I head to Beulah in the a.m. and back to at least Oromocto by 9:00 in the summer....such is the life of us non-cottage owners! :-|

It's weird--I never, ever see a Moose on that stretch of road; everyone else in the world does and I frequently feel left out.
However, just yesterday when we were on that road we had a big stinking BLACK BEAR run across the road. I've never seen that before. Awesome.
