We Made It To Disney!!!

This is Hope and Autumn's cousin Rachel. She lives in Barrie, and its been 5 years since they last saw each other. It was great to see you Rachel!!
Pooh Bear was on a 'break' for a few minutes so the girls visited his house while they waited for him to come back. The girls got hugs and pictures with Pooh Bear and Tigger.

So much to say...it was a pretty awesome place.

Hope and Claudia blasting evil aliens on the Buzz Lightyear ride. You don't stand a chance Zorg!

What would Disney be without seeing Mickey Mouse?? This is the real Mickey, the kids have his autograph to prove it!

It snowed in Ottawa on Dec 26th - to the kids delight! They spent quite a bit of time outside sledding and all. Here's Autumn zipping down the hill.

(disclaimer from tired typist...this paragraph was supposed to be at the top. I typed it first, then added the pics and Blogger won't bump it up to the top of this post, so I'm leaving it here and going to bed ;-), thanks for checking our blog! )

Whew! We wanted to get some pics up before this, but it has been quite a whirlwind of activity! We left Ottawa early Saturday morning (5:30), spent the night in Emporia, VA, drove to Orlando on Sunday, got in here around 8:30 (after a day of driving and trying to find an Outlet Mall!), got to bed around 11:30 P.M. New Year's eve, and spend all of Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Magic Kingdom! Disney did not disappoint! We all had a blast.

The first thing we did when we got inside Disney was to purchase an autograph book and 'pin trading lanyards'. The girls really enjoyed getting autographs from the characters and they pin-trading lanyards were a huge hit. You buy your lanyard and pins, and then you can trade pins with any disney employee. Autumn traded for all Princess pins, and Hope got Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie, little Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Donald.

The kids are really looking forward to getting back there on Friday. It was an overecast day yesterday, a little cool, maybe around 65 degrees, with a few showers. It's supposed to be around 80 again by Friday.

I just downloaded 215 pics off of our digital camera. Here are a few of the highlights. I'll eventually post some video here and on YouTube, but I'm just too beat right now (12:04).
